What is a Mapping?

Mappings mapping relate source and target metadata, and allow moving and transforming data from several source datastores (such as files, tables, XML or JSON payloads) to target datastores.

Design Mappings

The main operations performed during mapping design are described in the next pages:

  1. Create mappings to define transformation rules between source and target datastores.

  2. Filter the data from the datasources being used by the mapping.

  3. Join source datasources to combine data from several sources into a target.

  4. Set template parameters.
