Keyboard shortcuts

This page describes the keyboard shortcuts available for Semarchy xDM.

Windows and Linux

Action Shortcut

Set the focus on clickable items moving forward.

Tab

Browse clickable items moving backward

Shift+Tab

Set the focus on the next section. The keyboard focus can be set on:

  • Navigation drawer (if opened)

  • Page Header

  • Page Main Content

  • Side navigation panel (if opened)

Page Down or Fn+Down Arrow

Set the focus on the previous section. The keyboard focus can be set on:

  • Navigation drawer (if opened)

  • Page Header

  • Page Main Content

  • Side navigation panel (if opened)

Page Up or Fn+Up Arrow

Set the focus on the first item in the following components:

  • Navigation drawer

  • Collections (Table, list, grid)

  • Hierarchy tree

  • Menus (Action menu, item action menu, profile, etc.)

  • Reference picker

Home or Control+Up Arrow

Set the focus on the last item in the following components:

  • Navigation drawer

  • Collections (Table, list, grid)

  • Hierarchy tree

  • Menus (Action menu, item action menu, profile, etc.)

  • Reference picker

End or Control+Down Arrow

Move the focus on elements in the following components:

  • Navigation drawer

  • Collections (Table, list, grid)

  • Hierarchy tree

  • Menus (Action menu, item action menu, profile, etc.)

  • Reference picker

  • Tabs

Arrow keys

Sort the table based on the focused cell. Available for table views.

S

Display the column documentation based on the focused cell. Available for the table view and forms.

I

Resize the column based on the length of the focused cell. Available for table views.

F

Close the focused dialog.

Esc

Copy the value of the focused cell in the clipboard. Available in the table views.

Control+C

Move the focused item up or down in the list. Available for the Select columns and Sort records dialogs.

Ctrl+Alt+Up or Down

Mac
