RATP Dev Lyon operates and maintains the public transport network in Lyon, including metros, trams, and funiculars. Managing such a complex and high-volume environment requires reliable, timely, and scalable data integration across multiple operational and partner systems.

2. Data exchange with ecosystem partners

  • Distribution of processed data via SFTP to partners (SYTRAL, Keolis, etc.)

3. Technology rationalization

  • Migration from Oracle ODI to Semarchy xDI
  • Rewriting and consolidating ~30 Talend data flows into xDI
  • Standardization on a single integration platform to reduce complexity and maintenance overhead

4. Enabling modern data platform (cloud)

  • Use of xDI to feed Snowflake (AWS) as part of a new data platform initiative
  • Focus on high-performance data ingestion (ELT approach with DBT for transformations)
